Vancouver, British Columbia (August 28, 2008) – Canadian comedian and actress Ellie Harvie and ET Canada’s Erin Cebula are hosting this year’s FMA Vancouver. The media duo will present 'Sky 360', the airy incarnation of fashion runway, live music and art performance held on September 27, 2008 at The Centre in Vancouver for the Performing Arts.
'Ellie is a four-time nominated actress who brings a wonderful sense of humour to the live show, and together with Erin’s sophisticated approach, the two will make an outstanding team on stage,' enthuses Andy Chu, creator and producer of FMA.
Each year the star-studded gala event promotes artistic talent while also giving back to the global community. This year’s beneficiary is Make Poverty History. The Canadian Make Poverty History campaign was launched in early 2005 as part of Bono and Bob Geldof's international campaign to eradicate global poverty. The Canadian Make Poverty History campaign is committed to ending child poverty in Canada. Also benefitting is The WordLoveWorldLove Project that connects Canadian children with children in developing countries who have been impacted by crisis.
Sky 360 re-lives the old world glamour of travel as each segment celebrates the excitement of jet-setting and far away destinations along with an eco-green theme. Terminal 1 is exclusively Canadian, Terminal 2 is Mile High provocative lingerie and bathing suits. Terminal 3 is Eco Couture while Terminal 4 is Star Elite finale.
