VANCOUVER: BC, November 13 2003 - One year after its public debut in November
2002, Arc2 TV's content offerings have expanded from its original production
of LocalMotion to an array of channels showcasing Fashion, Nightlife,
Entertainment, Finance, Special Events and most recently, live webcasts.
"We felt the
time was right to step into the live event coverage forum", says
Arc2 Project Coordinator June De La Paz, "with our new and more robust
connection to the net and significant upgrades to our streaming media
infrastructure, we've had no problem whatsoever maintining the rise in
traffic during our first two events"
Making its debut
live cast with the critically acclaimed presentation of "From Within",
an artistic journey with Vancouver visionary Pamela Masik, Arc2 TV streamed
the young artists life inside an enclosed 8 X 8 ft box for 5 days to a
daily viewing audience of 1,000+ with zero disruption of service or content
delivery.
Produced by Arc2
Intertainments ( ACI ) Andy Chu, the project culminated in mini-documentary
re visiting the event and displayed at Masiks subsequent showing at the
Pthalo Gallery in Vancouvers Yaletown.
Said Chu of the
event, "clearly the technology maintained its stability and we can
now move forward confidently with future live cast projects"
