Vancouver, BC (April 26, 2004) ARC2 INTERTAINMENT'S "Stripped" Volume Two raises funds for Medallion Housing Society and Buried Heart Society with help from local musicians.
Arc2 Intertainment has a lot to be thankful for these days. For all the supporters of the Stripped, the ones who've made it out to the last two shows and to the musicians that continue to lend their voice to a night of giving, we thank you.
With over 200 attendees at our favorite cocktail bar and kitchen, Ginger SixtyTwo, and live web broadcast viewers from all over the world. With representatives from recording labels, the media, and the other six degrees of separation all focusing on the would be muses (as in music), wonderfully talented local musicians Camille Miller, Touch, Kristy Thirsk and Deluxe.
With barely a touch of glamour, our singers belted out lyrics that melted beautifully with live instruments that enhanced this Stripped performance.
Net proceeds raised are to be divided between Medallion Housing Society and Buried Heart Foundation. "We're getting recognition as we go along. I hope to make the "Stripped" series synonymous with outstanding local talent and the giving of community." says Chu. "This time I had support from MoonCoin Productions. I want to keep the momentum going, and for the series to keep growing."
Arc2 Intertainment will present its next installment of "Stripped" in the summer. If you missed the show, and were unable to see the live webcast at www.arc2.tv you can view video highlights of the Stripped presentation at www.arc2.tv, while the complete series, Volumes One and Two are broadcast in their entirety at www.arc2radio.com. |
